The last couple of months of 2019 have been exciting as we have grown our membership, narrowed our focus and been enriched by the involvement of our partners, in particular, Rev Dr Ted Reeve of the Eco-Commons, and through social media with CEDEC a network of small businesses and entrepreneurs in Quebec. We learned that our strength lies the holistic support of innovative leaders in communities of faith. These leaders are those who have taken the leap to try something new and are looking for long-term personalized and peer-network support, funding advocacy and skill-building. But, all of this is looking back…let’s look forward!
In 2020 we hope to connect with even more potential members (maybe you?) so that you can benefit from the energy, support and accountability that comes with a network of change-leading peers. We are going to be launching themed conversations so that Arts centres can connect with Arts centres, youth ministries with other youth ministries, and more (have an idea of a group theme? Email us!). The Spring will bring a number of educational opportunities that are in development so stay tuned to this blog for information about that, and, as ever we will be listening for and sharing stories of changemakers in their communities that will inspire, enrich and challenge us!
Bring on 2020! And bring on all the wonderful new ideas that will come with it!
